A Message of Your Living Hope

Sin happens in spite of technological advancements. Neither computer software nor hardware can make people less susceptible or immune to sin. Even biochemistry could not address this enigma. In a society where there is pill for almost anything, there is no pill that can ever cure the sinfulness of the human heart. No pill for envy, jealousy, hatred, doubt or fear exists. Yes, in all man’s achievements, he still remains a victim of sin!

Throughout the years and millennia, with the same effect to humans as sin, the phenomenon of death is the great equalizer of all. The ultimate fear, a core of human existence is the reality of death; rregardless of age, gender, status, place or time.

Interestingly the two phenomena go together. There is death because of sin as the Bible says, (“... for the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23). Science, technology, philosophy, education, are hopeless in dealing with it except to accept its reality. In this man can see how hopeless he is.

Yes, man is hopeless until he experiences the hope in Jesus Christ and comprehends what He has done to deal the realities of sin and death. Jesus came to give us NEW HOPE .
("... in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. Eph 1:12)

Because of what He has done on the cross by dying for our sins, His death gave a fatal blow to that which led people to death - sin. He provided a payment for our sins so that through Him we are no longer under the power and penalty of sin. All of these became possible as He lived a perfect life. He lived a life that we should live and died the death that we should die. But it did not stop there, on the third day after He died and rose again showing that He is victorious over sin and death giving us the LIVING HOPE .
(In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3)

In His resurrection, Jesus manifested the victory over sin and death. That sin could no longer hold man to the grave as Jesus became the first fruit of life beyond the grave.
("Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Cor 15:54-55)

He is living, He is active and that is why we can talk to Him, trust in Him, live by and through Him. We have the living Christ, our Living Hope.

And for anyone who receives Jesus by faith in their life, He becomes their GLORIOUS HOPE.
("…the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Col1:27)

The Bible says that when we put our faith in the living and resurrected Christ, we have Christ in us, the Hope of Glory.
